Combining mHealth and health-coaching for improving self-management in chronic care. A scoping review

Self-management approaches are widely used to improve chronic care. In this context, health care professionals call for efficient tools engage patients in managing their illness. Mobile (mHealth), defined by WHO as medical and public practice supported mobile devices, is demonstrated enhance self-management health-coaching an engaging tool supporting behaviour change. Nevertheless, it unclear how mHealth can benefit from each other. We conducted a scoping review provide literature-overview identify any existing gaps knowledge of combination with interventions improving diseases. No were involved the process. The five-stage framework Arksey O'Malley was used. surveys; PubMed, CINAHL, Embase, Scopus, PsycInfo.
